This is a heartwarming story about a young girl named Daksha who lives in a small village in the Himalayas. Daksha helps the village vaidya, Panditji, by gathering herbs and assisting him with his patients.
When two army men, Arjun and Subedar Hamid, get injured in a snowstorm, Daksha uses her knowledge of herbs to set Arjun's broken arm. The army men are impressed by her skills and convince her to go to school at the army base.
Daksha initially struggles to adjust to her new life. She is shy and homesick. However, Dr. Hemalatha, a doctor at the army hospital, recognizes Daksha's potential and encourages her to stay. Dr. Hemalatha arranges for Daksha to volunteer at the hospital, which reignites Daksha's passion for healing.
Daksha eventually agrees to continue her studies and goes on to become a successful orthopedic surgeon. She even uses her knowledge of Himalayan medicinal plants in her research.
